クラフトと産地へのこだわりを共有する二つのフレーバーメーカーのコラボレーション。スコットランドで手作りされたこのチョコレートバーは、二つの活気あるサプライチェーンを一つの特別なバーで祝う表現です。
このバーにOcelotが使用するカカオは、コンゴ民主共和国のヴィルンガ国立公園地域で、世界初の女性カカオ協同組合「Femme de Virunga」によって生産されています。その上に載せられたコーヒーは、ヴィルンガの南端に位置するSopade農家グループによって生産され、今年の初開催「Best of Congo」品質コンテストで入賞したコーヒーの一つです。
Half of it’s gone already—the dark milk chocolate is so smooth and just sweet enough, it’s hard to stop at one square. It arrived as a freebie with my coffee order, but the handmade Scottish touch makes it feel like a proper gift.
The gift box arrived well-sealed and the chocolate itself has that lovely snap you want from a bar, plus it’s handmade in Scotland which feels like a proper treat. It’s the kind of thing I’d never buy for myself but was thrilled to open.
The dark milk chocolate is noticeably smooth and creamy, not at all waxy like some bars. Knowing it was handmade in Scotland and part of a coffee collaboration makes it feel like a proper treat with my order.
