Assembly Coffee x Ocelot Chocolate

Eine Zusammenarbeit zweier Geschmacksmacher, die sich gleichermaßen Handwerkskunst und Herkunft verpflichtet fühlen. Handgefertigt in Schottland, ist dieser Schokoladenriegel der Ausdruck zweier lebendiger Lieferketten, die in einem außergewöhnlichen Produkt vereint werden.

Herkunft

Der Kakao, den Ocelot für diesen Riegel verwendet, wird in der Region des Virunga-Nationalparks in der DR Kongo von Femme de Virunga produziert – der weltweit ersten Kakaokooperative von Frauen. Der darauf befindliche Kaffee stammt von der nahegelegenen Sopade-Bauernkooperative am südlichen Rand des Virunga-Gebiets und wurde als einer der Siegerkaffees beim diesjährigen ersten Best of Congo-Qualitätswettbewerb ausgezeichnet.
